Carignan, Mourvèdre, Syrah et Grenache

Vinification :
macerated for twenty days at a controlled temperature with intermittent pumping over. The Carignan and Grenache are vinified keeping grapes intact.

Ageing :
12 months in oak barrels.

Tasting :
the robe is intense garnet. The nose has notes of liquorice, blackberry jam, and black olive. It is rich and full with strong tannins with a long finish leaving hints of spices, black fruits and pepper.

Pairing :
thick steak or duck magret with fig chutney.

Garde :
8 to 10 years

Service :
16° to 18°C.

WINE ADVOCATE A barrel-aged, certified-organic blend of Carignan, Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre, the 2017 Corbieres Chateau Coulou Cuvée Veredus leads with cedary aromas, tehn follows tose up with modest res berry fruit and spice notes. It’s medium to full-bodied, with a rich, wood-grain texture and lingering cedar on the finish.
