La Serre is our most beautiful plot in Boutenac, on the top of the crest of the old Roman road. La Serre is a cuvée limited to 3500 bottles: harvested at full maturity, sorted on a conveyor belt on arrival in the cellar, fermented and then matured in separate vats. The Carignan is aged in 160-liter jars, the Syrah and Mourvèdre in oak barrels. The blending is done after 12 to 15 months of maturation for a concentrated wine that offers a lot of freshness: a nectar in Boutenac. 2020 : James Suckling 92 2019 : James Suckling 92 2018 : Jancis Robinson 17/20, Le Figaro FR 93/100.
