Meticulous manual harvest and grape selection. The grapes are pressed and traditionally vinified before mutation. The wine is then matured in an oxidised environment: windswept in large ‘Dames Jeanne’ , it is first aged in the nursery and then left in the solera.
600 bottles per year.
Amber robe, the nose is strong and spicy with notes of nut and plumb. The long lasting taste is rich and complex with hints of mocha and orange zest. An exceptional vintage.
As an aperitif, or after a good meal between friends. This vintage accompanies a good cigar in front the hearth in winter.
